Our pigs are pasture raised on the ranch-no grains just grass and browse. The pigs are not huge but they are tender and juicy, fatty where you want them but in general a lean and tender protein choice. The animals are sold by the pound per hanging weight after they are hanging on the rails in the cooler. You pay per lb of hanging weight here then contact Sturgis Meats (605) 347-2626 to direct them on how you want the pig processed and wrapped. You also need to coordinate pick up with Sturgis Meats. They are open M-F from 8-5. Once you place your order we will pick a pig for you-and bill your credit card based on the hanging weight of the side. Plan on around 100 lbs or so.
